After a decent preparation (still had to work during the week) Joey faced Dave Chisnall in his first round match….
A good and exiting match to watch it was blow for blow. High scoring but missed opportunities from both Dave and Joey to move ahead the score was eventually 5-5 with a deciding leg to play. The tension by both players was visually noticeable. With Joey waiting on 56 it was Dave Chisnall who managed to win the final leg by finishing 118. Losing the match became slightly more painful as Dave carried on to eventually win the Players Championship 11. Still, well done Dave!
